About Propel

Propel Trauma came to fruition a decade ago when its founder, Amanda Wilson, began a journey to better understand trauma. In that time, through a vast amount of study and self-experimentation, she has uncovered some truly incredible discoveries that have transformed her own life and the lives of the people she's shared them with.

Yet, for a long time, Amanda felt like she didn't have a right to feel the way she did because she hadn't suffered true trauma, the tragic stories of human survival that we read about in books or watch in movies. Through her studies, however, she quickly realized that the definition of trauma she'd been taught growing up was profoundly wrong. Trauma is not exclusive to horrific tales of abuse, neglect, loss, and natural disasters, although it exists there too. Many times, it exists amongst the shadows, conceived in the smaller adversities we take for granted but which are often profoundly traumatic, nonetheless.

As Amanda worked to unbury and deal with her own past traumas, she started to gain an appreciation for just how misunderstood trauma is and why people lack the awareness and help they need to move on and heal from their own adverse experiences and symptoms. Because of this, she has developed a passion for helping people on their own journeys to emotional healing, a process she shares in her online Fear Release Program.

Amanda is also very passionate about helping people find relief from health ailments caused by chemical stress. So often, people are prescribed treatments that suppress the real issues going on beneath the surface, rather than focusing on the root cause of the problem; because where there is smoke there is often fire. In her Body Reset Program, she teaches people how to detox and heal from chemical damage while refuelling the body with everything it needs to function optimally.

Amanda also does Trauma Talk tours around the country and hosts Trauma Workshops.

About Amanda

Amanda is a top-performing trauma coach, show jump rider, bestselling author, wild horse trainer, public personality, motivational speaker, equestrian coach and business owner.

In her late teens, Amanda thoroughly immersed herself in the world of personal development in an attempt to master her mental weaknesses as a high-performing athlete, but she was still missing the answers she was looking for. It wasn't until she began studying trauma and then developed her own pattern of self-healing that she finally found the transformation she had been searching for, for so long.

Now, as well as helping other people on their own healing journeys, Amanda's mission is to discover who she is and what she is capable of without fear and the burdens of physical ailments. This has seen her pursue many grand adventures over the last few years, with many more planned for the future.
